Terms and Conditions

Booking
The cottage is available to let from Friday to Friday all year. Short breaks (minimum of four nights) can be available out of season, with the exception of Christmas and New Year. To book, either use the Availability page or if you would prefer to speak to us first contact us by phone or e-mail to make a provisional booking. Please then follow up with written confirmation and a cheque for the non-refundable deposit (25% of the rental cost) – provisional bookings will be held for seven working days.
Final payment is due a minimum of eight weeks before your holiday starts.
Payment  should be made by electronic transfer please ask us for details. We reserve the right to re-let the cottage if the balance due has not been received by the final due date.
We recommend that you take out holiday insurance to cover the risk of cancellation. We will always refund rent (less the 25% deposit) if we can re-let the cottage; however, if we can’t, we are not able to make refunds for cancellations within eight weeks of the start of your holiday. We also recommend that you check your own household insurance to make sure any personal belongings and valuables you bring with you are covered while you’re away from home .Whilst Troed-y-Rhiw is fully insured, cover of guests possessions is not included.
If, for any reason, the cottage was not available on the day of arrival, a full refund would be given. However, we will not be liable to refund any more than the price of the rental.
